I lived in Burlington, VT last year — The majority of this reel was shot all over the state.

Ramp Tumbleweed Snowboard Review

I had the pleasure of taking Ramp’s top end board out for a few days before Christmas. Could not be happier with the way the Tumbleweed rides. Not only is it super fun and buttery on the tip and tale, but it also tears up the powder and links turns so nicely during high speed carving. I now own one of these and seriously can’t get enough of it, it’s that good. If you are looking for an all mountain ripper, this is your board. Check it out.

This unique group of individuals have been layin’ down some serious funky jazz fusion on the Burlington music scene lately. Brought together by a common love of live, improvisational music, Dr. Ruckus began as a collective of Burlington musicians performing a party-centered repertoire of their favorite jazz, funk, and rock standards, while adding original tunes showcasing the complex interplay of horn players Ben Reed, Mateo Davide, and Taylor Smith. The infectious groove of drummer James Gilbane and bassist Brendan Keogh, mixed with Ben Sanford’s blazing guitar work and Mike Fried’s mind-altering Keyboard skills make for a new, creative sound that will always keep you dancin’. New to the team, vocalist Hannah Lebel fills the missing link with her melodious pipes that are sure to send tingles down your spine. If you are lookin’ to get down to some killer grooves, Dr. Ruckus is sure to fill your prescription of a fun funkin’ time. Live at Metronome in Burlington, VT. Dr. Ruckus headlined for Mildred Moody’s Full Moon Masquerade on August 1st, numero uno of the two full moons in this blue moon month. Great people, crazy costumes, killer music, face painting, live art and a full moon made this quite the party. Peep the festivities!

Finally got the chance to cover a car show and what an epic one Wolfsgart was. Lots of gorgeous vehicles, plus the opportunity to ride in one of my dream cars on a 70+ german car cruise out past Smugglers Notch and Stowe Ski Resorts (B5 Nogaro Blue Audi S4 pushing around 500hp). I had the pleasure of driving my brother to pick up his brand new 2012 Golf R, shipped straight from the motherland. We only had a short window of time for a test drive and a quick shoot, but this thing definitely rips! More to come later this summer.
